SAINT CATHERINE'S
We'll fly to the Sinai to experience the oldest functional monastery in the world and the woman responsible for its existence (and it's not Catherine) at the base of the mountain where Moses received the 10 commandments.
Meet Your Guides:
Beth Bruno first went to Egypt in 1997, just two months after the bomb at Queen Hatshepsut's Temple dropped prices so significantly that it was the cheapest option for a Visa renewal trip from Turkey, where she and her husband were living. Since, she has fallen in love with the treasure hunt of finding the fingerprints of women throughout history who shape so much of our present reality. After leading the Lost Women of Turkey Pilgrimage for years, one such woman led to a discovery in Egypt that opened the doors to a whole new hunt! Beth is newly an empty nester and gives leadership to ReStory Counseling in Colorado.
Tracy Johnson experienced Egypt for the first time in 2017 on a trip with women curious about how their own stories would be provoked by the centuries of history in Egypt. Captivated by the intersection of Egyptian history and the Bible she instantly fell in love with this incredible land. Assisting Beth in the exploration of women's stories in Turkey brought a surprising connection to one of her favorite women in Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut. She is thrilled to be on the hunt with Beth for the stories waiting to be uncovered on this next adventure! Tracy gives leadership to a team of Storywork coaches at ReStory Counseling, and is the founder of Red Tent Living. As she enters her 60th yer, she is also eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first grandchild.

"A pilgrimage is a ritual journey with a hallowed purpose. Every step along the way has meaning. The pilgrim knows that the journey will be difficult and that life-giving challenges will emerge. A pilgrimage is not a vacation; it is a transformational journey during which significant change takes place. New insights are given. Deeper understanding is attained. New and old places in the heart are visited. Blessings are received. Healing takes place. On return from pilgrimage, life is seen with different eyes. Nothing will ever be quite the same again."

What Women Are Saying About Lost Women Pilgrimages ...

Stunning. Transported.
It was AMAZING! If you have felt tugged to go to Turkey then this is the trip for you! I would never have had the same experience had I gone on my own. Beth was so organized and made sure we had the full experience. I’d do it all over again!

Amazing. Educational. Awakening.
This trip goes beyond sightseeing. This trip challenges you to see history in a new and exciting way. And, it encourages you to acknowledge your place in this world - that you are seen and you matter.
~ Carin

Life Changing. Surprising. Profound.
It is sumptuous and startling. It is a beginning, a re-ordering of self and soul. It is a challenge and a gift, a pathway that opens to unexpected terrain for journeying forward with new skin, new ears, new eyes, new senses and a map both into self and back out to your world.
~ Margaret

Immersive. Lovely. Educational.
It is a deeply enriching experience. The immersion. The food. The fellowship at meals and the relationships built are worth all of it. That thing that is keeping you stuck, or that ache or emptiness in your heart might just get loved right through you into a new peace.
~ Angela
